WERKS Cross-Country Mountain Bike Race - Helena MT

How often are you offered Canadian funds at par with the American greenback? In an effort to persuade the Canadian XC contingent into Helena, MT on the summer solstice weekend, the Great Divide Cyclery is offering just that, Canadian at par! Why not make a full weekend of it? After the race, there's the Helena Music Festival. Saturday June 21, 2003

Directions: From I-15 north of Helena, take exit 200, Lincoln Road, (Highway 279) then west about 10.5 miles to Marysville Road. Watch for Ski Area colorful sign on the left (south) side of the highway about 1/2 a mile west of the intersection with Birdseye Road. Turn on Marysville Road and drive 7 miles to Great Divide.Those in Helena may also reach Lincoln Road by using Montana Avenue, Green Meadow Drive, or Birdseye Road.

General Information:Race Day Registration: 9:30 – 10:30 at Great Divide Ski Area

Entry Fee: $25

Race Start: 11:00 staggered start every 5 minutes

· 1 lap Beginner
· 3 laps Sport
· 5 laps Expert/Elite

Prizes: $1000 in cash and prizes
Cash Prize for Expert/Elite
