Drop In - Update From the Road - Whistler B.C.

Our first update from the road is an exciting one! We have all kinds of swank news to report and stories of incredible antics...many of which I won't get into. Some of the photos to follow will show the fun we've been having while on the road.
Following the success of last season's tour we're traveling like rock stars. It's amazing to see how many people have been expecting us in the towns we've ridden in, and the welcome that we've received! It warms our hearts! The boys have been busy signing autographs, entertaining and partying with many of our guests, friends and hosts. That's all I'm going to say about that for now.

The tour was kicked off with high action before we even hit the Island. On the ferry ride over to Nanaimo, Jared Jesperson decided to do a 6 foot gap from the top of a semi-trailer to the slippery roof of our bus - this was all in the lower deck of the ferry with only inches of head room to spare. I was impressed, as were the rest of the boys!!

On the Island we met up with Scott from Backcountry Taxi (www.backcountrytaxi.com) who toured us around the island in his dope 4x4 monster van! You have to check out some of his trails and have him show you the goods on the Island. We also met up with Ryan Leech, who blew our minds with his insane ability! Darren Barrecloth showed us his stomping ground around Parksville and threw down like a mad... wait till you see his can-can off a huge drop!

The crew this year, as you know, is made up of Tyler 'Super T' Klassen, Chris 'Ladies Man' Glew, Jared 'Insano' Jesperson, Steve 'So Smooth' Romaniuk, and last but not least Dylan 'Pimp Daddy Mac' Trembley. Tyler has been impressing us time and time again with his skill and ability to throw around his Santa Cruz V10 like it was your sister's pink BMX. Chris Glew keeps our heads shaking at the insane nose manualing and wheeling of the ladies. Jared is going to be a fan favorite if he can keep himself out of the hospital and/or jail (we've already been to the hospital once with Jared). Steve Romaniuk is Mr. Smooth, not necessarily with the ladies but with everything else. He is a pleasure to watch on the trails, and he even impressed Richie Schley and Wade Simmons yesterday with a sick step-up to nose manual to no-footer off the end of a box at the Whistler Bike Park. Dylan Trembley will be sure to excite each and every one of you with some crazy and innovative lines. He's been sidelined for most of Episode One due to a fluke accident that injured his shoulder. Don't worry kids he's now ready to go!

Right now we are in Whistler riding with Richie, Wade, Gareth and Bearcloth. A couple days ago we were treated to a bungy jump at Whisler Bungy with Wade, Richie and Gareth. Yesterday we were riding the park with tour guide and bling-bling master Richie Schley. Later, we'll be in Pemberton ripping some of Richie's trails.

Thanks to everyone who has helped us out along the way and we look forward to meeting more new friends and experiencing the adventures that are in store for us. Stay tuned for more updates, photos and teasers from the road. Until then 'Just Ride Your Stuff'.
