Sun Peaks Resort - Back to Normal Operating Schedule

Sun Peaks Resort is pleased to announce the return to normal operating hours
starting Sunday August 10th. The Sunburst chairlift will be operating daily
from 10am -5pm on weekends and 11pm - 5pm midweek. The chair lift will
shuttle hikers, sightseers and mountain bikers 2000 feet up the mountain
where mountain bike enthusiasts can enjoy 25 single-track trails and hikers
have over 50km of trails to choose from.“Many of our neighbours, staff and friends have been affected by the fires
in the surrounding areas, our communities thoughts and best wishes are with
everyone” states Vince Accardi, Director of Marketing for Tourism Sun Peak.
“We feel fortunate to be able to return to normal operating status so soon
after the road was reopened. The Sun Peaks community is looking forward to
hosting our returning guests” continues Accardi

Although the resort remains under an evacuation alert there are no travel
restrictions from Kamloops to the resort.
