TerraLogic Park Industries announced today that Diablo Freeride Park in Vernon New Jersey will host the 2004 U.S. Open of Mountain Biking May 29th - 30th, featuring a $5,000 cash prize to first place downhill finishers, one of the largest cash payouts for any mountain bike event in North America. Combining the success of the inaugural US Open of Mountain Biking with the
introduction of a huge cash payout, TerraLogic Park Industries hopes to lure
top racers from around the world as well as future local stars. "Our goal is
to attract high caliber riders by offering them the type of cash purse they
clearly deserve", said Clayton Harper of Diablo Freeride Park. "We are a
small organization, but we still managed to put together a substantial
purse, it can be done".

The event will continue with its unique open Pro-Am format for 2004. "We
chose an open format to give up-and-coming riders the opportunity to compete
at a higher level which will ultimately raise the bar of traditional
downhill racing", said Shawn Orecchio of TerraLogic Park Industries.

"In my opinion, the US Open race was one of the top events of the '03
season. It had all of the elements that will make it grow into a world
class event in years to come: great organization, top notch course, pro
purse, close location to a major metro area, and excellent atmosphere", said
Todd Seplavy, Product Manager for Iron Horse Bicycles. "It's good to see
someone stepping up to the plate with an event like this."

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please contact Shawn Orecchio
or Clayton Harper at diablofreeridepark@mountaincreek.com for information.
