A new season at COP

Well guys spring has sprung and another season has dawned. We’ve got less then a week until opening and things are looking sweet. In the past four years I’ve never witnessed so much early season work being put into the trails at COP. Before opening we’ve built a huge spine in the trials park, a bunch of new drops and begun fixing up some of the older runs, not to mention scoping a secret super ninja trailThe 2004 season, aside from hosting the World Cup will Feature a Slopstyle contest. We’ll be building the slopestyle and the World Cup 4 cross course the week following the long weekend (May 25-29) and could use some volunteers to help us make it rad. This season is shaping up to be one of the best so far and it's not even June!

COP weekly race series starts up for its spring session with the first DH race may 19th followed by the Cross Country race on the 20th.

Here’s a list of events for the summer:

Iron Lung ABA Alberta Cup XC Race – May 23

DH10 ABA Alberta Cup Downhill Race – May 30

UCI World Cup and Bike Calgary Festival – July 1-4

Canada Cup XC & DH Aug 7-8

If you have any questions about any of the events or dates please call 247-5457.
