Ahhh Vegas, the adult playground that never sleeps; home to the world’s largest collection of energy-guzzling-bank-account-vacuuming casinos, shady fare padding cabbies and the reason we’re here –
Interbike 2004.
The New Frontier seemed to have all the right amenities, except high speed Internet
Radek, D-Rock, and I flew in on Saturday, checked into the New Frontier hotel on the strip, got home base set up ready to transmit the goods on Interbike only to find that the Internet connection was not up to snuff, so this morning we made a change of venue in search of a place to stay with better service.
Last night
DropIn producer and bus chauffer Tim Bieber pulled into town with the crew after a brief stop in Utah to pick up Bender, they were on their way out to hang with the bodies in the desert and to film the final sequences for the 2004 DropIn season at Interbike’s Outdoor Demo in Boulder City a half hour drive east of Vegas.
Bender and Dylan welcome you on the bus... sure you don't want to get off?
DropIn filmaker Tim Bieber, always sees things in technicolor
Stay tuned to catch the news over the course of the next week; we’ll be traveling to Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City to catch up with the DropIn crew and to review the newest bikes. Starting on Wednesday we’ll cover the indoor component of the show to report on the exhibitors and on Thursday evening we head over to the Palms Casino to catch the as-always highly anticipated World Premiere of [L=http://www.freeride-entertainment.com/]Freeride Entertainment’s[/L] latest edition to the New World Disorder series, NWD V, “Disorderly Conduct”.
