Do you live in Calgary, Alberta and need to get in shape for bike season? Check out the new outdoor drop-in fitness program located near the University of Calgary. Watch for quick postings Sunday mornings as to whether or not the weather is cooperating and the sessions are on. Starting Monday, March 14th (this monday) at 6pm - 8pm. Drop-in within these two hours and follow the workout station "guidelines" for a wicked complete workout! For a drop-in fee of $5 per session, you are free to use the equipment available and follow the park pathway to various workout stations. The park is about 4 acres large with a pond in the center. A paved pathway circles the pond and already-established workout stations exist along the pathway including pull-up bars, sit-up stations, etc. The exercises posted will be at inntroductory, intermediate and advanced skill and fitness levels (have you ever tight-rope walked before? It does WONDERS for your balance!!) There will be some additional equipment available for your use as well.

Sessions start this Monday, March 14th and go every Monday and Wednesday for the next 8 weeks! Drop-in or make it a weekly routine as part of your get-back-in-shape for this upcoming season! Sessions run for 2 hours each evening from 6-8pm every Monday and Wednesday so get off the couch and get out there!!

Each week, a quick post will be made Sunday mornings on the main page as to weather related cancellations.
