WTB is re-entering the control components category with the introduction of the TXC trail riding group. Building upon the legacy of the company’s Dirt Drop and titanium flat bars, the new products have been designed to provide a secure connection with the bike under aggressive riding situations. The new TXC group is targeted at XC and Trail riders looking for lightweight yet reliable components. All of the TXC products feature ergonomics which correctly match the current riding styles and bicycle geometries.

TXC Handlebar: MSRP: $50 (USD); 6 degree rise x 80/90/100/110mm extension; 137-152g; black

Featuring an oversized 31.8 stem interface, the TXC alloy riser bar provides a solid connection to the stem for improved steering response and increased impact strength. The wide 660mm length positions the hands in a wide stance to better absorb trail impacts and laser-etched markings are provided to aid accurate cutting, if necessary. The custom drawn 7050-T6 alloy tubing is strong and shock absorbing and the 35mm rise allows for hours of trail comfort.

TXC Stem: MSRP: $80 (USD); 660mm wide with 35mm rise; 31.8 clamp; 265g; black

Manufactured from a 3-D forging process, the TXC stem provides a rigid interface to both the handlebar and steerer. The machined four-bolt face plate features high-strength steel bolts for a secure hold on the handlebar, while the steerer clamp offers two opposed steel bolts which ensure evenly distributed pressure over the length of the clamp. The thick, ovalized extension resists twisting forces to provide point-and-shoot steering precision. The TXC stem accepts either 31.8 or 25.4 (with included alloy shim) handlebars. Made from 2014-T6 alloy with high strength steel hardware, the TXC stem also boasts laser engraved artwork.

A dual-bolt clamp provides a wide range of adjustment, easy bolt access and a secure hold on the saddle rails. The long 400mm length, with laser etched cut lines, meets the needs of modern frame designs.
