Want to be a Part of the Global Team?

Global Racing is giving you the opportunity to join the team as a Local Support Crew member for just one race, where you will get to experience the behind scenes operation of the World's number one downhill team. You will have specific duties within the team, allowing you the opportunity to work with the athletes, mechanics, and management staff, as well as join the team for the less public moments such as reviewing training sessions, discussing race plans and relaxing at the team dinner. We will also rely on you for some of your local knowledge if the team has any issues that require a local person's knowledge.

1) Even though Global Racing speaks in many different languages, the operations language is English, so you must have English as one of your spoken languages. (This is why we have only posted this promotion on our English pages of the site).

2) You must live within 1 hour of one of the following venues where we'll be appointing a Local Support Crew member. Those venues are:


a) World Cup #1 in Fort William, Scotland.
b) World Cup #2 in Maribor, Slovenia.
c) Maxxis Cup in Todtnau, Germany.
d) World Cup #3 in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada.
e) World Cup #4 in Vancouver, Canada.
f) World Cup #5 in Telluride, USA.
g) World Championships in Kaprun, Austria.
h) World Cup Finals in Les Gets, France.


3) You must be old enough to sign a waiver without requiring a third party's consent for this interactive promotion, according to your local relevant national laws.


4) You must have a current and valid driving license.


How To Apply:

All you have to do, if you meet the four criteria above, is complete the form found here and email it us as indicated, before May 16th, 2002. In the 2 weeks following this deadline, the Team Management of Global Racing will determine which 8 lucky people will join Global Racing for one event during 2002. Each of the 8 people will also receive a special gift from Global Racing at the end of their stay on the team, as well as having the chance to experience something very unique.
