Second Châtel Mountain Style Contest: -July 4 to 6, 2008

The professional riders are still registering…
The 2008 Châtel Mountain Style Contest , a downhill mountain-biking event in freeride and slopestyle whose guest of honor is Timo Pritzel, will be a great event for both the professional and amateur riders alike. In fact, on a trail 300m long, a difference of elevation of 160m, of 100m large situated on the Chaux des Rosées area on the mountain bike park, totally reshaped by the Châtel’s Bikes Patrols and the Radical Films (Kranked) riders. More than 20 pro riders will be there from July 4th to 6th 2008 to do the best they can.The riders will have to show good multivalency and skill in their figures, doing not only back flip or 3.6 but also choosing the right line with fluidity, involvement and control.

Saturday 5. July 2008 : morning: training for pro and am.
afternoon: qualifications in 2 runs for professional and amateur riders.
4pm: dirt contest.
6pm: partners’ special evening.
Sunday 6. July 2008 : 9am: training.
10.30am: first final for pro and am.
2pm: finals.

By the way, if anyone is going to the contest then check out the mountain bar near the bottom, last july the guys who own the place gave me and my mates some free shots when we came in from the snow! hope it's a bit warmer this year!
