EWS or Bust Episode Four - Millau, France

The Enduro World Series headed to Millau, France for round 5, nestled away in the Midi-Pyrenes. Owning its stunning landscapes and backdrops make it an awesome new addition to the EWS series with its mix of tight singletrack, wide-open sprints and shadey wooded sections, it was definitely going to throw-up some good racing and prove to be another exciting stop for EWS or Bust.

After a big crash in Madeira, feeling of the pace in Ireland and finding some form, Payne was feeling set for Millau. After loading up Bertha (the camper) ready for a week away with the Mrs, it was back on the boat, a few truck stops, ham and cheese everything, a hefty amount of privateer winging-it and arriving in Millau bright-eyed and ready to rip. Without further standing on, sit back and enjoy Episode 4 of EWS or Bust!

Before and after racing EWS France

The weather took its toll once more on the bike, requiring constant maintenance and checking with the clay sticking to everything.

Dropping into stage five which consisted of a good amount of hecklers gathered along side the steeps.

Hey @AinsleyTrimix sorry for the slow reply dude.

To do the 6 rounds of the EWS that I'm doing it'll probably come to around £7500 but that a guess as I've not worked it out just trying to keep it as cheep as reasonably possibly, it's all paid for out my own pocket and thats from working as a self employed stone mason.

I don't like to use the word "train" to much as it makes things a bit serious but i gym it at least a couple times a week and ride nearly everyday, nothing to structured just out with my buddies and we might throw in an impromptu hill smash and sprint here and there (not really any road riding either)

Hope that helps dude and keep it pinned .
