Mountain Creek Bike Park and Specialized Bicycle Components are pleased to announce that they will be working together for the 2014 bike season. Specialized has been named the “Official Gravity Bike Partner” for the resort’s upcoming season set to begin on Saturday May 3rd. Mountain Creek’s rental fleet will consist of 50 Specialized 2014 Demo 8 FSR I’s. With their FSR suspension, DH race geometry, and confidence inspiring Butcher tires, Specialized gravity bikes will provide a great ride for everyone from the most experienced riders to first-timers.

“Specialized is arguably the best bike manufacturer in the world and the Demo is a time tested gravity specific design. Their reliability and durability is second to none and we’re pretty stoked to be able to offer a bike of this quality to our guests this summer” say Bike Park Operations Manager, Marc Tremain.

“Partnering with Mountain Creek as the official gravity rental bike provider was a natural fit for Specialized. We’re excited that riders at Mountain Creek will be able to enjoy a Specialized gravity bike experience that equals the quality of the trails in their park.” Added, Daniel Sluzas, Specialized’s East Regional Sales Manager.

To celebrate their partnership, Mountain Creek and Specialized are giving one lucky fan a chance to win a 2014 Specialized P.3 complete bike. To enter, head on over to the Mountain Creek Bike Park facebook page and click on the “Enter to Win” tab. The winner will be chosen and awarded at the Bike Park’s closing weekend celebrations in November.

Awesome! So people without Facebook can miss out on an opportunity to win one of the most coveted bikes of all time. Not to mention, I am a frequent MCBP rider and cannot wait for opening weekend, but this is a huge blow to the nuts for us non-Facebook users.

Kolske - Thanks for the support. All Season Passholders will be automatically entered if that helps you. Otherwise you can always set up a facebook account just to enter and then delete it. Small price to pay for a chance to win an awesome bike.

If you have bought a season pass, you should be entered already according to the post above. I don't use facebook, but bought a season pass in October, so I'm good!

i have to agree. can you guys just use your real website for posting events and contests? i realize facebook is easier to update, but from my perspective it makes you look very, very grassroots. and you're not, mcbp is one of the best parks on the east coast, if only their website reflected that.
