As each year,
Paul Couderc and I decided to make a new video to show the progression of his riding. This year was very positive for him, at only 18 years old the young french rider won the Natural Games MTB contest in Millau (FRA), proving the cleanness of his riding and his constant progression in this sport.
He also had great results in the FMB World Tour contests: 16th at Fise World Montpellier (FRA), 3rd at Kunterbunt contest (GER), 10th at Gleemride Slopestyle (AUT), and a 6th place at Arnette O’Marisquino contest. He finished the year 44th in the FMB overall ranking.
Filming this new video was something complicated, we had to balance between studies, Paul's contests and the bad weather that forced us to push back the filming sessions. The making of this video has taken us seven months to finish.
We really wanted to make something good, a video you will enjoy watching and that will show the real progression and perseverance of this rider. Because Paul is a hard-worker, he spends hours and hours practicing his tricks in his own backyard in Figeac (FRA), attended by the local riders.
This summer the backyard was visited by many riders among the most talented in the world: Thomas Genon, Tomas Lemoine, Simon Pagès, JB Peytavit and many others from many different places. This was very helpful for Paul so that he can push his limits.
The last days of filming were very intense, pulling new tricks like the 360 tailwhip to barspin, condor to double barspin or the switch 360 barspin to barspin back.
Beyond the video, Paul would like to thanks his sponsors as nothing would be possible without them:
