A personal message from Oly Mingo, Editor and DP of Howell at the Moon:
"Hello Pinkbikers! With only 7 days left in our campaign, the time is now to speak your voice and join the ranks of the Pedal-Driven movement. Together we stand to break the barrier of delusion, distrust and conflict between bikers, land managers and trail users. Over the last 18 months our crew has filmed across the States and Canada, capturing the passion and experience of countless individuals & communities in our effort to introduce the Mountain Bike Movement to main stream America and beyond! (To our surprise, many curious & un-involved passersby have no clue these issues even exist, nor the heated conflicts in our forests.)
We need your help in sharing these stories of recreation and conservation working in synergy! Pedal-Driven provides the framework and ideology needed to get sustainable trails on the ground in your community. If you're a frustrated rider, share it with your problematic land manager. If you're an embattled land manager, share it with your frustrated users. If you don't ride a bike, share it with your dog so he'll stop digging those environmentally insensitive holes in your backyard without filing the proper analysis and paperwork.
The Pinkbike community has passion & clout. Our Kickstarter trailer received nearly 30,000 hits on PB alone. If each hit translates into a $1 donation, the PB community becomes the largest project stakeholder to date. A film for the people, by the people! Tell your parents, friends, family, co-workers, spouses... tell the guy sitting next to you on the bus. Please log on to Kickstarter.com and make your pledge today. We have lots of great rewards, including DVD pre-sales, Pedal-Driven schwag, product from our sponsors ... even get a trail named after you!
Vote today with your dollar for trails tomorrow! It's time Mountain Bikers gain the freedom & recognition now enjoyed by our pioneering brothers of Snow and Skate. Mountain Biking is not a crime. Illegal trail building is not the solution. When education, cooperation and collaboration unite, the world will be Pedal-Driven."

I'd like something like this to pop up in the UK. its impossible to even find somewhere to build trials, Let alone get permission from the land-owner/authorities. Props to IMBA.

i'm planning on building some jumps on a patch of derelict land, that is next to a business park, it's not been used in years, people are starting to fly-tip there, how much do you wanna bet, once i start digging, the riding nazi's turn up and stop me digging. This would be a hit in the UK
