Loving watching this. Something not dominated by full factory supported racers.
Loved with Cam had to say about seeing young kids and relative unknowns having a chance to compete, get noticed, go on to live their dreams. That's always been one of the best aspects of Crankworx.
Should be a rerun. That start gap was MASSSSIVE. You can clearly see BVS was at a huge deficit off that start and Bensink start looked unaffected. Of course Bensink doesn't want a restart. LOL!
1) Using suspension on a pump track will be slower than using a rigid bike (I'd be *shocked* if riders aren't nearly locking their forks out for this) 2) in light of this , it is funny that the race is sponsored by a company who only makes suspension products 3) Haven't seen any bmx or rigid bikes in the competition...are they banned ?
Red Bull Pumptrack competition allows for both rigid BMX and dirt jumpers. It's not as black/white on which is superior as both BMXs and DJs have won the overall. Generally some pump tracks do seem to favor one over the other, all other factors being equal.

2) At least it's not a chain manufacturer.
3) It's an MTB event. There are race events that are open to both platforms.
