The first round of the DVO Winter Gravity Series is a wrap with KHS Factory Racing sweeping the Men's DH podium with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 48 gravity-fueled State/Regional Championships medals were awarded, $3,000 in cash to pros from DVO and GT Bicycles, $100 cash to the fastest Junior Expert provided by, Trucker Co. The GT raffle for the Sanction frame and prizes to all amateurs. It is no surprise that there were lots of stoked faces in the crowd and on the race courses.

2019 DVO Mob n Mojave is on February 15-17, 2019. Register early HERE

The Enduro race had a very respectable 18 Pro Men, 5 Pro Women and over 100 amateurs competing. The Bootleg Enduro courses tend to get more gnarly and less pedally as the series goes into round 2 and 3. Next event promises one stage down the face!

With pay-outs going 5 deep and equal pay for men and women, we expect the women's field to continue to grow.

Seen here is DVO's Geoff Welch. This dude seems to be pretty happy and we think it may just be the DVO and Bootleg combination. It's the only place we see him and he is the biggest kid out there. Viva la DVO and Bootleg.

KHS's Bryce Helbling airing it out near the bottom of the DH course. Legendary local bike shop, All Mountain Cyclery (AMC) with the help of many locals just finished a couple of new table top jumps. The 1st one is 42 feet from the take-off to the sweet spot. AMC operates shuttles on weekends and is also the home of Bootleg Canyon.

An awesome total of 32 kids competed in the 14 and under age brackets for all race disciplines. We think that is a Bootleg Canyon record and can't wait to see how many kids show up for the 2019 DVO Mob n Mojave next month. This photo is of standout/prodigy Teagan Heap. Teagan turns 12 this August and rides for Onyx Racing, DEITY, FiveTen, WolfTooth, All Mountain Cyclery, TRP, DVO Troy Lee Designs and Merge4.
