The favorite for taking the first position was Antonio Leiva, a pro world cup rider from Chile who just a week before won at Valparaiso, one of the most extreme urban downhill in the continent. He didn´t disappointed anyone and he took first in both rounds. In the overall of the day the second place was for Santiago De Santiago from Argentina from the team Zenith.
