If like me you have spent far too many hours trawling the internet in search of a which replacement bearing you need for your cartridge bearing headset, hubs or bottom bracket; then "The Bearing Hub" is being built to make your life that little bit easier.

The Bearing Hub is new database and forum set up to help track down which bearings are used for which components and includes sortable databases for cartridge bearing models, headsets by bearing model and a Head tube finder which will help you find which models of headsets fit your frame.

There are so many components out there now that use cartridge bearings, but as most of the component manufacturers fail to list replacement bearing information on their websites its proving almost impossible for one man to collect all the information that's needed.

Here is where you can help. If you know of or come across a resource detailing any component's bearing spec info, either email steve@thebearinghub.com or go to the site and enter the Hub, Bottom Bracket or Headset info yourself. Even if you only enter the specs of the bearings on your own bike that would be a great help. If you can give the site a like or share a link as well then even better!!

It's a massive project which needs the users help, hopefully there are a few product managers out there that will jump on board and make the hunt for info a bit simpler! But keep looking back to see the database grow and don't forget, when you next want to change your bearings and are in need of some information go check out...
