PRESS RELEASE: The Lodge PeruAs it is known, Peru is a top worldwide destination for mountain bikers due to its ancient trails, history and local gastronomy.
In the past few years, pro riders such as Brett Tippie, Jordi Lunn, Geoff Gulevich and Micayla Gatto have been visiting Cusco and the Sacred Valley more than once. This has helped in many ways to develop the tourism industry, especially the adventure one. On one hand, it encourages local and international riders to travel around Peru searching for epic trails but also its making people more interested in this sport as it is a special non-conventional way to get to know a country.
One year ago, brothers Nicolas and Vicente Chirinos (mountain bikers since birth) fulfilled their longtime dream of opening the first lodge in Cusco that focused on the mountain bike experience. Located in the tiny village of Lamay, the owners spoken to the highland communities and started working together to clean and maintain forgotten trails that now are used just for biking, making it a win-win project benefiting more than 50 families currently living in poor conditions.

This brand-new venture will surely provide one of the best ride experiences in the world.
