by Andreas Øhrn

In 'Cycling E-Motions' the Norwegian mountain biker Andreas Øhrn has to work his way back after facing a career threatening MTB injury. Two years later he is in his best shape ever, but yet again has to fight his way back on the mountain bike, after catching a serious infection caused by the Epstein-Barr virus.
With the help of an E-MTB he finally manages to get back into the mountains after being sidelined more than 1,5 years battling chronic fatigue. Cycling E-Motions is about seeing opportunities in challenging situations, talking about mental health, and the importance of doing what you love.

The Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay is extremely efficient both up and down the mountain

Words: Andreas Øhrn

After being sidelined for over 1,5 years because of chronic fatigue caused be the Epstein-Barr Virus, going out for a ride on my MTB got a totally new meaning. It wasn´t longer about chasing seconds and podiums, but just being able to experience that sunset from the top of the mountains. For me mountain-biking got a new purpose, and being out in the nature watching the amazing scenery, felt like the best medicine for both my mental and physical health.

Near freezing temperatures contributed to some stunning sceneries

The last years I've experienced first hand that being able to move freely and ride your bike is a privilege often taken for granted. Remember to always have fun out there, and appreciate how lucky we are to be able to do what we all love so much!
