The first race of Czech Enduro Series was a real challenge. The week before the race, the weather was quite nice, warm and with sunshine every day - just the perfect conditions for racing. But when then race weekend got closer, it was getting colder and colder and with temperatures around the freezing point the snow came. Snow flakes turned trails into muddy greasy slides which made up for interesting race conditions. On the other side, it was so much fun!
We were surprised that even with this weather, there were almost 300 riders on the course. Four stages were ready for Race and Hobby categories which offered mix of roots and rock gardens and in combination with bike park sections the stages were ready to examine the racers' readiness.
The fastest racer was Milan Myšík who was able to win 3 of 4 stages. He was stoked with how the race came along, "Jested is almost my home race and I didn’t expect that I’m gonna do so well even in this mud. It was total motocross! I tried to go with the side lines but I crashed twice but they were fast crashes. It’s great start of my race season. Thanks dad for preparing my bike. It’s so great to win this race where I have lots of friend and family."
