good info cheers, yeah i cant decide between leaving it as it is now and looking at a trance towards the end of the year or spend on forks and shock on this one now, time will tell but the bob is pretty bad i know they cut corners to hit the price but they seem to have cut more than was needed

Personally i would save up for the trance and just run a higher air pressure for now. The trance is a much better frame to build up round, I only have this myself as I got it at almost 60% off retail and on a 12 month payment plan but given the choice I would choose the Trance no option.

How do you find it standing up powering to climb. Mine bobs like a boat thinking of more pressure or swapping rear shock for something better

I have the same issue. The rear shock is pretty basic and not tuned for the linkage of the rear suspension, I found that a slightly higher air pressure and more oil in the shock helped but I want to upgrade it to a better one soon. You should look at doing the same.

The shock length is 184x44 which is very hard to buy for but if you buy a set of offset bushings for the top link you can just about squeeze a 190x50 shock in which are much cheaper as more common tup
