I just hit a unleashed dog on a mtb trail yesterday head-on. Poor dog never saw it coming. I could not get it shut down in time. I came around the corner wide-open and there he was coming at me wide open. Bang! I always feel extremely sorry for poor hounds with stupid owners. This is the third dog I have ran over on our local Trail section in 2 years. I love dogs I just never understand how owners can let them run freely on a busy Trail, you might as well just let them play on the interstate.

Oh bummer for you and the mutt.... yeah that sucks, this guy is susceptible to the same if I am just stopped hanging. He starts to think he owns the place and runs up baying. That said if I’m going somewhere that is questionable, he stays home. I have a few very isolated systems that arent really that fun for me but he has a blast.
