ahh damn. i was hoping a simple different sized spacer or something could of been ordered in and swapped out by a local mtb shop next time i get a shock service.
Due to the structure of the damper, you can't extend the stroke length in a Float X2 unless you send it to a Fox service center. So, it is possible, just not quite as simple or inexpensive as something you could do in your garage. Rockshox use a shim on the air spring side to reduce the stroke, so it's is easily accessible/removable.
