Can't tell if it's red or orange, but looks like it's more on the orange side, and I see you went with the orange accents. I have a feeling it's like the color of my Stumpy. They "call it" rocket-red, but in person it really does look more orange. It's fluorescent satin finish, looks like a safety cone, and one typically needs sunglasses to view it safely.

I noticed the pics you have show that same phenomenon, where it's a touch more reddish in some, and totally orange in others, so I figured it's probably the same type of shade as my Stumpy

Yep! looks about the same color wise. orange in the shade and bright orange/red in the sun.
