Made myself an old school chain stay number plate. I'm also getting rid of that shitty idler wheel assembly, and ratting one out of a skateboard wheel.
Tinkering around with forced air intake, and made my own clutch assembly using a 500lb cable pulley, an "L" bracket, and a linear cable. I went old school with a custom overflow tube, and miniature whiskey bottle fluid catch. ;)
Personal modification to my clutch cable. I bought a 500lb pully wheel with an elbow mount, and an elbow bracket & mounted them to my clutch cover bolts. The clutch on this thing was super tight, even with a linear cable floating in Tri-Flow oil. Running it this way reduced the friction 50%, and free'd up two cable housing bends. Now I can clutch with two fingers.
So far....... All that's left is to fabricate the paneling, tear down, and then paint.... And oh yeah, this engine with it's current gearing and bore has me at a steady 42mph at full twist. I can't wait to put on performance carb, filter, expansion chamber, etc.
Ratt Rocket #2 mock up. Now all the fun begins. Time to tear it all down, start the fab work, then paint and all that. Ditch the shitty springs in the back that FnR makes, and add my own. Etc., etc. Gonna be fun!
got the motor installed. Still need to change the fork, stem, pipe, add the throttle, and all the next stuff. I have the head off in the pic. I'm swapping out the stock for a performance head.
