Petroglyphs left on a boulder near old town site of Iosepa by Hawaiian LDS missionaries in the late 1800s to early 1900s - perhaps looking forward to the day when they could go back home
Iosepa memorial at cemetery. Many were infants when they were buried. The area's climate is hostile - gets just as hot where I live in AZ in the peak of summer, yet it gets brutally cold and snowy. And remote - probably took a couple of days to get to SLC back then. I'm not a religious guy but I admire these OG LDS Hawaiians' dedication, giving up their cozy island life for what they believed in.
Arrested development - Delta Solar R&D site. The developers were scamming would-be investors by enticing them with Uncle Sam's solar incentives/tax rebate without any measurable result. The IRS froze the site in 2017(?)
Breakfast skillet at All American Diner. No-frill food with high lbs/$ ratio. Perfect pre-ride meal after getting awaken too early by rain drops while camping in the boonies.
Tule Valley/Ibex Hardpan. Its surface is smoother than El Mirage dry lake. The pointy peak in the distance is Notch Peak, the second tallest cliff in Merica. Beer: Grapefruit IPA by RoHa Brewing Project of SLC
Cosmic Ashtray. It's about the size of a small amphitheater. I made a sensible decision for a change and chose not to go inside, since I can't afford a $40k helicopter scenic ride if I fell and break my leg or something.
