this fork works really we once you figure out the compression setttings that you like best it will eat up the trail. one thing I like a lot is that when you put it into its shorter travel setting the suspension is still fully active vs. other companies that I have used where when set into its lower travel setting the suspension is pretty much locked out but this fork stays fully active. the quick release axle system is a really easy reliable system to use. If your looking for a long travel fork that you can shorten up when an up hill comes up and some pedal is required this is the fork to get.
As normal from fox a very well made fork.. Super stiff with all the tuning you could want.. Nice to service.. Feeling like brand new every time! 5/5 from me!

Compression - This is the damping circuit that absorbs the compression energy force on the damper. Compression damping is used to adjust how quickly a fork or rear shock compresses when hitting a bump, and is adjustable on some products. When compression damping is too soft, this condition allows most of the available travel to be used without attaining control of the wheel. When it's adjusted too firmly, the wheel will jump or "dance" about when hitting small bumps, again failing to gain control of the wheel.
