I have the 5.4 meta but still is a beast of a bike, light yet strong. Another superb build by commencal!!

An enduro mountain bike “par excellence”, the Meta 55 comes in four versions for 2011 (2 aluminum, 2 carbon), to satisfy all types of rider: from the hardcore endurance racer to those all-mountain riders looking for the best in high-end products.
On the technical side, the Meta 55 frame geometry remains typically COMMENCAL: an open head angle, lower bottom bracket height for stability, a relatively short top tube length for greater maneuverability, shortened chainstays and interchangeable dropouts for an easy switch from a 9mm axle to a 12mm axle for increased rigidity of the rear triangle.
