I put an air shock on it and love the responsiveness of it.(EDIT)...Have since gone back to a coil and actually prefer it to the air shock (Marz TST R Air)
I'm finding the rear end is showing a lot of flex lately, maybe the frame's just getting tired after 2.5 years on it!? (EDIT)...A new and better rear wheel and hub made a huge difference!
Would get it again. I would like to try the Hammerschmidt too!
Current setup:
Totem Coil 1.5
Van R Shock
Mavic Front
Single track rear
Got rid of the chain "guide" was heavy and useless.
Went to an e-13 with a single ring and holzfellers...much better!
Also, I recommend routing the shifter housing closely through the frame and using ties to keep it up against the side of the dropout....previously it was working its way on top of it then stretching the *shit* out of the cable upon compression!
