Magura Louise BAT

 These brakes are a good choice, lots of power and good modulation. I think they look really good especially if you run with ventidiscs, but they have a little issue, the stock pads generate an awful noise, I just change them with koolStops and problem solved.

 Great brakes with plenty of ajustment. Pad life from stock is long, modulation and reach ajustment is out standing as is the bite pad ajust. Never had to bleed them yet. Hoses are very long from stock, so will need to be cut down almost always. Overall a great brake, also very light!

 Love these brakes. I'm a big guy and i have no problems slowing myself down with minimal effort. the brakes are powerful and they have great modulation. The bite adjustment is easy to use and it works. plus i think they look good. definitely a great choice!

 this is a sick brake! the bite adjust is really cool, lets you dial it how you want. the hoses do come really long but the germans have figured out how to cut the hoses without bleeding them. it literally takes five minutes. overall sweet product, definatley would recomend it

 These are superb. People do not lie about modulation and power, they are both outstanding. And venti disc works too, not to mention how amazing spider really is, way better lookig than any other on the market. Only problem is weight, because 203mm weights 240 grams, but in my opinion performance outcomes weigh, so it is worth it!
Overall, these brakes are suitable for almost any type of riding, from xc even to dh, as power never lacks. You buy them, instal without problem, ride as long and hard as you wish, no need to worry about anything, because of 5 year leak-proof warrany and magura blood mineral oil. Just don't forget to change pads after a while.

 Magura brakes are the best! I have the Bats with 160mm rotors on front and back and they stop on a dime. I was going to upgrade to a bigger rotor befor I used them but I really dont think I need them. Got mine on ebay new $160 for the set.(2011)

 I've been running these for 4 years with zero problems. Never even had to be bled. Stoked to upgrade to the new MT-series, though

 They are a little tricky to set up but once its done you just forget about them.
Plenty of power and as long as you have no leaks, you don't need to change the mineral oil.
