All I can say this bike is amazing! The rock solid Pike upfront and Fox at the rear aswell as the huge swingarms make this bike decend (and climb) like a mountain goat on speed! Sexy graphics all over such as the lime green brakes. Only downside IS the brakes, Juciy 3's are not the best in the world, rotors are to small (180 front 160 rear) and the crankset could do with being replaced if your doing more heavy hitting stuff. Other than that you have a perfect AM/lite freeride bike to love and upgrade as you see fit.
EDIT 2: The crankset is terrible though, was changing the BB and the entire thing just came off without even needing a crank extractor, MOST WORRYING! Now replaced with Saint Big Grin

EDIT: This bike is also VERY UK friendly with massive amounts of mudroom so you can stick fat tyres on there no problem and Lifetime warrienty on the bearings too. Aftersales from Marin are good to with their Platem (sp?) care plan afterwards.

cons wish it had 20 mm mre suss, otherwise, one of the most amazing rides ever, i just plain love this bike, get it a 50mm stem and your laughing, I've done wc dh courses on this and DJ and free ride, even if i could afford a DH specific bike, i really wouldn't be that fussed, as this bike has opened up all styles of riding to me, and its really more about the rider than the travel in the end, i can't get over this bike, its amazing, lots of love! get it!
