I have a Scott Genius LT 10 (www.pinkbike.com/u/richardcunningham/blog/Scott-Genius-LT-10-Tested.html) and Ive gone though 4 rear shocks. Scott refuses to do anything about this. I'd stay away from the Genius.
The bike listed on this page uses a Fox shock. Not the problematic DT Swiss shock from older generations
