Just baught this bike and took it up to the hill, the new name I call it is the Rocket! By far the most quickest, snapiest, corner plantingest bike I have ever riden. Down the DS course this bike sticks like glue and alows you to hit the tightest corners while having control. Down the DH courses that I rode this bike had just enough cousion to let me hit most of the Pro lines without loosing control. The BB height is pretty low and I hit my pedals a few times on the DH courses, but it was so light and nimble everywhere that if there is no narley big drops and big rocks, this is what I will race even on a DH course. I am very excited to have this bike to race!

Pros: Easy bike to build up. Very easy to control, super low and flickable. Also surprisingly versatile; I ride it mainly on dj's but i've had it up and down trails and all over. I love my bike. Cons: Not able to take advantage of tapered headtube yet because there aren't any headsets made for it.

I haven't done any actual riding on it but from what I've gotten from riding it in my yard it's a hell of a lot better than my single pivot Avent Arson. The suspension feels really good and it seems very difficult to go through the travel (in a good way), it seems to be a very pedalable bike too. Oh, and you have to dish your wheel to the non-drive side by 6mm.

It's a great frame for speed-loving loonatics. It's good for jumping, but because it's so long, some tricks come realy hard to learn/ are nearly impossible to do. The suspension works great, but it requieres a lot of PSI if you want it to be stiff. I weigh about 170lbs/75kg, and I load up 300psi in it, and it still seems kinda soft-ish. It's a frame for strong people definitely. The biggest problem with it is the bottom bracket height. 30cm/12" = pedals on the ground when turing to the leg that's currently downwards, and pedaling over obstacles is a no no.
The frame is backlip-able, but i'd recommend the short version to EVERYONE, regardless of height. I am almost 2M/6.6ft, and I feel it could be shorter. But the frame is for flying, period, I end my report. ;-)

hands down the best short travel bike i have ever got to ride. this bike is perfect for just about everything. I dirt jump it, 4x, and trail ride it and it kills at all of it. the geos are spot on (they have to be if specialized kept the same frame for 3 years now). I highly recommend this bike for anyone looking for a good do everything bike

This is honestly the best bike i have ever owned and i will keep buying a new one when the time comes so i always have one to ride. I have the long which is perfect for riders 5'8" and up. the longer wheelbase length makes trails and cornering much easier and the low and still small frame makes it awesome for jumping. despite what people say about the weight, its actually pretty light. i had my weight weenie but still strong build at 28lbs and then after changing tires, pedals, brakes, and putting a chain tensioner on it was still at 30. the only problems with the bike is the low BB height which when used to, some problematic situations can be avoided. and the white paint is very easy to get dirty and scratch which leaves light brown marks on the frame. you can get them to all be gone and wax it up in 30 minutes but after doing that, id suggest putting a flat clear coat on it

Great bike! Very comfortable ride and very fun to jump. Handles amazingly well in sprints and in the air. Only con is I wish it was similar to the P.3 Frame in that it comes with a headset and the SX does not. Otherwise there are no cons! Highly recommend this bike!

Pretty much the best 4X frame in the world. My friend is riding a Commencal Meta 4X wich is fun too but wo both decided the SX is a faster bike. It has a very low BB, short chainstay and a long TT. I recommend the large for riders that are taller that 5' 8". Specialized just has a short and a long and the short just feels kinda weird in my opinion. If you're looking for a slopestyle rig I would also take a look at the Dartmoor Shine and Black Market Killswitch. The SX has a very low BB which is nice for raceing but it makes it kinda hard to flip and rotate. But it still feels awesome on dirtjumps. Especially with a 4" fork.
