It's awesome frame, mine is set up with SXTrail wheelset, Shimano SLX drive train.
I've been taking this bike to go uphills and doing some light downhills as well..... it always keeps me amazed with its capability.
Definately want to buy another one if mine has come to replace.

I love mine, they arent that heavy meaning they can't go up hill, but the travel feels endless and plush on the way back down the hill. Just a pity about the old one having stupid length shocks on.

Sick do everything frame. Climbs up and kills it on the way down. Pretty pedal friendly for having 170mm of travel. Can also be built up nice and light.

My 2008 SX2 frame done 2500 mile over 2 years and only needed 2 cartridge bearings replaced. Only sold due to XL size being HUGE!. Suit people 6ft 6 up to 7ft!.

Strong Frame, Easy to throw around. SUPER fast and fun at the bike park. Bike has perfect geo, so you can still throw some trick in.

SpecializedSX Trail Frame (MSRP $1850) — If the trail ride turns into a freeride, the new for '09 SX Trail with 170mm of FSR travel shows no mercy when it comes to triple overhead drops and backcountry stunts.

Claw knows it: The SX Trail M5 Premium Aluminum frame delivers. ORE top/down tube, forged head tube and full cartridge bearings. Integrated ISCG mount. 170mm travel. Not for the meek.

The standard in coils: Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock with full adjustability - rebound, ProPedal and bottom-out control.
