Trek2011 Rumblefish 29 I

 I bought one back in 2011 and still have it. The only things we have changed are adding a Thompson dropper, Push Industries 10cc volume reducer and preferable handlebars. The reducer helped to take bigger jumps and bottom out less. The brakes are not XT grade but get the job done. For the price paid and now 5 years of wear it is still holding up, well worth it. It is a point and shoot bike and climbs rather well. I have a 2015 27.5 Remedy now so my 15yr son rides this now. The rims flex a bit and I have had to perform a trail true on the front rim once to get back after mis-judging a landing. This bike is not made to jump as we all know but it will handle 3' drops. Very good trail bike for the cost and durability.

 I have a 2012 and have beat the piss out of it. I'm riding all mountain with a lot of rock gardens, jumps and drops. Like ol96 said it's not a DH bike and is really not intended for that sort of riding, but in my time off riding the rumble fish it has done well on DH trails and at the park on flow jump lines. I'm really hard on my rear wheel and had to build one up after I had ripped a eyelet out of the stock Bontrager which lasted for a couple of years. Great bike overall and Trek's warranty has been great. It's not super light but it's tough and dependable. I'm just getting it overhauled and the fork and rear shock serviced. So for basically 4 years of riding I've had to put almost no money into upgrades except for a new rear wheel.
