Hands down the best bike I've ever ridden. Yes there are downsides with the gearbox but its still in its infancy. The benefits far outweigh the negatives. This bike will track better then anything you have ever ridden, the suspension is mind boggling and the traction you gain has you going into corners and chunky stuff faster then ever before. this bike puts a smile on your face and helps you smash your PRs.
After 2 years on my Taniwha i am still grinning like a cheshire cat.
The absence of a rear derailleur was always my drawcard to the bike, the ability to position myself on really obscure lines that a conventional rear mech bike would fear to tread for fear of damage is such a plus.
This bike is thoroughly capable to ride all types of trails my DH bike is gathering dust.
So much fun!
