Dirt jump trails project

So here's the story. My town has some pretty mediocre jumps at the local rugby club, but these are always overun by kids who just beat up the jumps, on top of that its dug into the ground and has no drainage so always floods.

Recently after one of his lil rides a friend of mine found this spot in the middle of a copse that had obviously been used before as there were the remnants of trails there (we think they were used by bmxers that used to ride in and around my town). As it happens i didnt think of taking pictures before we had done any work on the trails, but here are some after about a days work.

As you can see some of the landings and takeoffs have been cleared and we have begun removing reeds... thats right, reeds from the middle of the jumps.

We have also dug substantial drainage channels as there were dugout bombholes inbetween the landings and takeoffs that had become completely waterlogged.

So this is the what we have done so far, not too visible, but this blog will keep track of the progress we make, eventually how it rides and new features that we build.

Check back for updates as progress takes place. Over and out!
Chris.
