Relay For Life

This Saturday I’ll be posting up at Highland Mountain’s parking lot for 24 hours of flips to raise funds for my Relay For Life team “don’t sweat the small stuff” to support cancer research. I’m not and never will be an oncologist so this is what I can do to help find the cure. In my lifetime cancer has effected my family and friends lives many times, the recent loss of a good friends mother and the current battle that the mother of one of my childhood friends is going through has reminded me of my families past losses. Cancer isn’t something you normally think about unless its hitting close to home, its not really a thought that runs through my mind on a average day, so I hope my efforts this weekend will make you aware and remind you that cancer has no boundaries and no friends. No one can hide from cancer but anyone can help find the cure.
