Hi all,
Let me quickly introduce myself. I'm Frederik, a 35 year old wannabe endurobiker. Let me start to clear out some things, don't expect to see crazy video edits of big jumps and massive trail riding and stuff like that. I'm a wannabe, meaning, I'm trying very hard, but to actually be an endurorider, I have a long unpaved road ahead of me. We all love to watch those sick edits and wish we were riders just like that. Well...face it, we're not. But that doesn't matter, as long as we go out and have endless fun on our favorite trails, go out and find new trails, have fun with friends and drink our favorite beers afterwards and talk about that steep section you nailed and felt like a pro.
Before, don't know how to describe what I'm currently doing, I used to ride a lot of mtb marathons, training and riding for hours. It took so much of my free and family time, I decided to stop. There was only one thing left for me to do. Go out and just have fun on the bike without endless hours in the saddle to prepare myself for an event. Like this I got to know the Duvelbikers, a group of fun riding, beer drinking lads. Since then, I try to get out with them as much as possible. At least, that is if I'm without injury...remember I'm a wannabe, so...yeah, from time to time I crash and wait for my recovery...just like this very moment, I'm recovering from a typical idiotic crash...
I'll be posting regular updates of my adventures on the long unpaved road to be an endurorider
cheers and keep riding!
