![This was my second-ever BMX bike a mid-80 s Diamond Back. Crazy my dad still has this thing but it held up pretty dang good for being so ancient]()
Holy smokes, did I find something crazy over the Christmas holiday! My dad has kept my old mid-80's Diamond Back and the thing actually looks pretty good for being over 30 years old. Ha! Check the crazy frame geometery... And the GIANT front sprocket...
This bike brings back some good riding days. Trying to pull off 180s and "kick outs" over our "jumps" (I use that term loosely, as compared to the craziness we jump these days, our little hills would be a joke). But coming from the Sting-Ray bikes that snapped all the time, the Diamond Back was pretty cool. Lighter than my Mongoose, but still a tank at over 25 pounds. Ha!
If you have any pics of your old rides, post 'em up so I can take a look. I hope all you PBers are doing well and had an enjoyable Christmas.
