I just want to give a really big thanks to everyone for all the messages, texts, calls etc. Thanks for thinking of me guys.

It was quite a big one but one of those things that could have happened any time. I was going for the jump at a good speed but one of the braking bumps just before the take off shook me enough to just knock a foot off the pedal. So there I was off the jump one footed and out of control, think you can guess the rest.
Smashed shoulder, four broken ribs, punched lung and the usual purple/blue/yellow body parts etc.

If anyone is thinking of taking a holiday at the Gloucester Royal Hospital, I can recommend the all inclusive option with unlimited intravenous morphine.
