Friday 7/13 Ride

Went and hit a quick ride on Beacon today, started at the golf course and found a pretty nice trail. Still have no idea of where the good trails are, really need to find some people to ride with up here. That and having a couple more drinking buddies would be really nice. Bike rode really well, did have a tune up done today, shifting seems better, still have a few minor issues there to work out. I can't wait for my gravity dropper seatpost to get here, so tired of my seat either being in the way or too low. The fork is way to soft, really need to get either a stiffer spring or even better, get an air fork. I am leaning towards a Sektor RL air 150, which would help with the weight of the front end as well as getting the pedals a little higher off the ground, getting tired of having to clipping them on small rocks. I was way to hot out for riding need to be careful with that, felt like I was gonna puke, probably a combination of the heat, being out of shape and the horrible taste of the water from my Camelbak, need to figure out a way to get rid of the plastic-y taste.
