Since i really don't ride downhill anymore, i had no use for the old TLD GP pants. But at the same time i didn't want to throw them away, together with the matching jersey. So my mom turned the old pants into a pair of pedal-friendly shorts for enduro and freeriding.

Went home for a 2 week vacation and felt that i had to do something with my old and tired, but loved Demo 8 frame. Cleaned and rebuilt the wheels with new DT brass nipples, sanded down, re-painted and polished the mag link. Thinking of removing the racing stripes and put some new decals on the frame Will be built up for a "When-Im-Home-Bike" to shred the old trails when not having the ibis with me.

Went out riding yesterday. After 30 seconds i had a pretty hard crash, after going down a small drop and hit a hidden slippery root. Took me a few minutes until i noticed that i couldn't find the button for the reverb. Thanks to the helmet and kneepads i ended up with only a few scrape marks on my leg, could be worse.
