Abbotsford first legal dj park

Well work goes on at the dj park site.
Three sets ,the expert is nearly done for now and the 3/4sized intermediate sets is being worked on now.
A begginners will be last to be done and then a pump track.
The expert set is big, both sets all gapped and you will have to be good .(Whistler sized)
Site is located just N.E. of Abby BMX track ,under the power lines.
Builders are the uber talented "earthrampbikepark" boys, they built Vanier Park jumps.
These jumps are more towards dj bikes and BMX's.
We are looking for helpers at the moment to come and help tamp the sides and move material.
I think we have brought in close to 1400 truck loads ,so as to make a elevation loss to get riders to
return to the starting area.
Anyways it's nice to see the area moving forward.
Liam Wallace came out and hit up the big set over and over ,then put down his claim to fame.
First to 3 the big set and trick away.
Kevin Weed and some small Abby BMXers also hit them up.
While the big set is huge, I would have to think this should really up the level of riders expertise.
We are looking at a official opening this spring ,that doesn't mean "weather dependent" that the riders won't be
riding on them ,if we get a late drier fall?

Indoor BMX/4X mtb racing opens NOV 5. at the Abbotsford Agri-Fair Arena.
Lots going on in Abby.
Nice.

Boy I wish this was around back in the day when Abby BMX first opened and I was racing there. Great work Gary, and thanks for all your hard work over the years. You've done so much for the Abby riding scene it's just crazy, you should get inducted into the Biking hall of fame.
