It seems like MTB in general is becoming a bit obsessed with incredibly expensive machines with a lot of riders thinking that more money = more fun. Will Smith rides a third hand 24/7 slacker steel hardtail with 24'' wheels and 100mm forks. No brakes, no gears- just 60psi tyres and some bollocks. Oh, the other essential ingredient is tea- plenty of tea.


It's not often you get to ride dirt jumps so late in the year, let alone score blue sky and bone dry trails. We're normally digging for the winter by now, so it would have been rude not to get the camera out.


This is the first of many monthly 1 minute videos with fellow rider and film maker Ed Mitchell. We wanted to keep all our vids short and to the point, so it made sense to start with something we know.
