Atmospheric Inversion - Video

It seemed to be a dark misty day by looking out of the window but I had a feeling that it might be an atmospheric inversion. The local weather-webcam was down so I had to go check by myself... and I did. After a few meters of ascending the sunbeams came through the fog.

I was lucky that the fog boundary was exactly in height of the trail I headed for.


An hour later the fog has risen and the scenery became dark again.

After I was done with filming I went up to the top to enjoy the sea of fog after the sun went down.
