As you would expect from most two wheeled enthusiasts, the back shed belonging to Ed Masters has quite a few interesting finds. Feast your eyes on some two wheeled goodness and try and pick your favourite ride.
My Pivot Pheonix, decked out in all the team drip. While she wasn't so nice a few weeks ago my DH rig still holds dear to my heart. Long live DH
My trusty (sometimes) 2003 XR 100. Easily the best $1500 'investment' Ive ever made. Ive vowed i'll never sell it and I cant really see that changing
My Firebird is my work vehicle. Where the switchblade is nimble and playful, the work truck is mainline with confidence and that comes in handy on the EWS.
1986 BMW K75. At Crankworx this year Bernard and I agreed that any prize money won had to be spent on a toy. Luckily I nabbed 2nd in the DH and couldn't believe my luck when I found this beast. Best prize ever. Its been both fun and terrifying learning the ropes on this around Queenstown this summer.
The Switchblade. My daily driver. This bike is so much fun to ride. Ear to ear grins all day long, try and tell me otherwise.
2007 Gas Gas 250. This summers latest 'training' tool. It seems like every other MTB'er has also cottoned on to how fun these trials bikes are. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
My Pivot point. The most loyal of servants. Ive always ridden hard tails and always loved how they're ready to go whenever you need. This one has been no different and will be doing so for years to come.
As a huge Jason Lawerence fan we cant forget the YZ125 decked out in very tired Yamaha of Troy graphics. I wish I could say I do them justice but sadly I'm just not that good at motorcross haha.
And last but not least. The actual daily driver. A timeless classic in the form of a 1996 Hilux with hopefully a few more decades left in her.
A big thanks to Pivot Cycles and all our team sponsors for keeping the dream alive!
