Edinburgh University DH Morzine '13

After what felt like an age of waiting, ten of us dragged our bikes onto the plane and headed to Morzine in the French Alps for the Edinburgh University Downhill Trip. 13 days of lift accessed downhill trails and 39 degree heat in the Portes Du Soleil treated us very well. We rode many of the famous bikeparks in the area including Chatel, Morgins, Les Gets, Super Morzine and Pleney.

Seven of us made the trek up to A9 into the highlands for a weekend of XC riding. After staying overnight in Carrbridge, we hit the Golspie Highland Wildcat trails the next day for some incredible views and the longest singletrack descent in the UK. The following day brought more good weather for perfect conditions at Laggan Wolftrax.
