long road to a kids dreamafter living in Christchurch (NewZealand)all my life then moving to Queenstown (NewZealand) my bike came more useful to me than just biking to school and the shop. i became friends with a local kid who had just started riding bikes properly(dirtjumping) akswell, (id say we got along quite well) he dragged me through the bike shops everyday after school on our way down the the local jump park (Gorge road). here i was pedaling through the jumps with my idol back then 'Nathon Greenwood' bosting higher and getting through them better than anyone. i always hoped i could be half like him. i slowly progressed through the park, jump by jump with always over hearing the ''older'' riders talking about exstending the park.(personally never thought it was going to happen) but comes a year later me and my mate were giving Nathon and his crew a little had putting together what we would call a 'dream park' and this is where it all started. i started to ride bigger jumps, adapting a style, adapted to new tricks. a jam/comp was held at gorge road jump park. around 30 or 40 riders, hundreds of watches. (big turnout for newzealand)some big booosters and some big freestylers. but i put all what i had lurnt into action and ended up winning best gromit... next thing i knew i had a huge funny looking guy talking to me his name was tim hes the big boss at vertigo bikes and he asked me if i wanted to be on the team and ofcorse i took this oppatunity. after riding for vertigo for a week or 2 one of the workers there asked if i wanted to give a fuew pics and a small video to the newzealand diamondback distributor. things only got better from then on. it was my dream as a boy, and im half way there.
